- Heart attack
- Viral myocarditis
- Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy
- Dilated cardiomyopathy
- Complex congenital heart disease
- Congenital long QT syndrome
- Brugada Syndrome
- Electrolyte abnormalities eg potassium, magnesium, calcium
- Adrenal gland tumours
